I recently wrote an article about soem expats living in my city, Budapest. For that I asked a few friends to give me some account of their lives here. They were also kind enough to let me photograp them so to bring a personal touch to the article.

Seagal Blues

So it turns out, that when he is not defeating terrorist armies single handedly, Steven Seagal is passing his time as a husky voiced blues singer. Despite all my expectations Seagal and his band put on a pretty good show, even got the crowd - that largely consisted of blues loving pensioners - to their feet. Rock n' roll was done that night!    

Photo-walk #9

To me photowalks represent the spirit of photography the most - you just walkaround in the city, free from any concept, and just capture what catches your eye, what sparks your imagination. Well in my case my lovely partner in crime does both of these things, so I sometimes have to force myself to get other subjects in front of my lens too. I succeed only half the time...
